Mayuri Indian Cuisine
If you're craving bold spices and rich flavors, Mayuri Indian Cuisine in Memphis is the kind of place that hits the spot. Tucked away at 6524 Quince Rd, this cozy eatery is known for serving up some of the most flavorful Indian food in the area. Whether you're dining with family, catching up with friends, or bringing the kids along, the casual vibe and moderate noise level make it feel just right for any group.
One of the standouts on the menu has to be the Chicken Tikka Masala—perfectly grilled chunks of chicken swimming in a creamy, tomato-based sauce that’s both tangy and comforting. Pair it with some fluffy basmati rice or naan, and you’re good to go. If you're into a bit more heat, the Chicken Curry and Lamb Curry bring that deep, slow-cooked spice that's a hallmark of Indian comfort food. They're packed with flavor, but not overpowering—just enough to keep your taste buds dancing.
Vegetarian or looking for something lighter? Try the Raita—this cool, yogurt-based side dish is a refreshing contrast to the heat and pairs wonderfully with everything. And let’s not forget the Tandoori Chicken, cooked in a traditional clay oven until it’s smoky, juicy, and bursting with spices.
What’s nice about Mayuri is that it’s not trying too hard to be fancy. It’s relaxed, with outdoor seating if the weather’s nice, and the service is friendly without being over-the-top. You’ll find a good mix of regulars and first-timers, all drawn in by the authentic flavors and welcoming atmosphere.
So if you’re in Memphis and have a hankering for Indian cuisine that tastes homemade—with a little restaurant flair—Mayuri Indian Cuisine might just be your new favorite spot.

Great food. Glad the buffet is back open on weekends. Rarely crowded. Consistent level of food. Nice folks.
This dine-in and carry out restaurant is a hidden secret for the area. The food here comes out hot. The servers will take care of you. They serve traditional Indian food that was the perfect (for me) amount of spice. We ordered a Thali style of food. Thali is a style of serving multiple dishes on a single plate, often with rice, dal, raita and bread. We asked for some more orders of food to taste different dishes and they were so nice to let us add to our order. We finished with kheer desert. The ambience inside is calm and quiet with beautiful decoration. The dining area was very clean. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends if they enjoy Indian style food.
Love their food, I have been coming here for 10 years, I alive everything they have to offer!
I like food mainly tiffin combo. I like their lunch combo. One quick tip is to include some real vegetable as part of thali. Otherwise very good food at reasonable price. I visit them frequently and post frequent videos in my channel https://www.youtube.com/@memphistnliving
I got the Beginners special just to make me choose dishes away from my normal. Appetizer sampler was good. The chicken curry was great.
